London: Thames & Hudson
In this book Sybille Prou and King Adz talks about Blek Le
Rat work and how the came about and his ideas around them.
Blek Le Rat works in different kind of ways as in showing
things through his stencil and paste up work. One of his work that the author acknowledge
in this book is “The Man Who Walks Through Walls” this work is the most popular
one that is out there from Blek work the author quotes “ It is Certainly Blek’s
most travelled character; like Blek himself.”
This quote explains that this stencil is one of Blek favourite. “this
Man Who Walks Through Walls has journeyed across the world to share urban art
and stencils with people everywhere.”
This quote from the author gets me thinking about how this stencil of
this man in a way that its alive. The fact that is travelling around the world
and the name that it’s given give the stencil a lot of character.
